These are cool watches. One has a brown leather band with sort of a faux snake pattern with white stitching around the band. The front of this one is a brass finish over the stainless steel in a square. The numbers and hands are gold tone. The second watch has a black leather band and the face of the watch is a rectangle with tiny crystals around the face. The face is Mother of Pearl with silver stylized numbers and a day of the month feature. The Hands are silver with a sliver of Mother of Pearl on them. Both watches work on batteries, the crystal one has the battery number on the back. Both are marked Chico. The one with the black band is like new, only worn a couple of times. The brass one's band is a little worn, not broken through and it looks fine, but it was worn a lot...really a lot because I loved it. Both keep good time and look great with whatever you wear. I love, love watches and collected them during the 80s when we moved to Missouri about a mile from a neat mall. I just kept buying watches until one day I realized I was only wearing a couple of them that I liked the best, and the rest were in a jewelry box...then alas, they went into storage about ten years ago with everything else and now they want out.
I'm starting to put sustainable on all of my listings because it dawned on me the other day...what is more sustainable than vintage. What is better for the earth than something that's already been made. Why make more items to clog up our environment when there is so much already out there. So, vintage is about the best "sustainable" thing you can sell. -

Privacy policy
I'm an old retail gal, and Etsy has been fun. But as a seller, the most challenging thing I deal with is shipping. I believe shipping costs can make or break a small online business. As an example, I recently joined Etsy's Free Shipping Guarantee and lost so much money I had to remove it from my shop. Shipping an item to Texas might cost me $15, but that same item going to California or Oregon, might cost me $30 or more. You can see the problem. So basically, my remedy is to offer sales on my item, that way I can control the loss of income. I'm not here to get rich, that's for sure. I'm here to find my treasures a new home. But at the same time I don't want to lose money while running this unique adoption program, so free shipping is sometimes just not an option. And along with shipping costs, my shipping time is somewhat of a problem when I receive a high volume of orders. Remember, I'm an OLD retail gal and not very much of a multi-tasker any more. So there are times when you're shipment might be a tad late. Please be patient. Write and ask about your purchase if it hasn't arrived when you think it should have, and I will be perfectly honest about when I shipped and will supply a tracking number.
Vintage and antique items are always unique and the buyer is responsible for reviewing the pictures provided and reading the details of each item before purchasing. Please remember that vintage is far from new, and there are times when wear is visible. We will always list any such wear or age or any flaw in our listing so please read carefully. Finding a problem on a vintage item that has been pointed out in a listing is not an acceptable reason for a return. If a flaw has been noted and you have simply changed your mind, we will only refund the value of the item, no shipping costs will be refunded and that's only if the item is returned in the same condition it was when we shipped. Questions are always welcome and more pictures will be provided if requested.
If an item is received damaged in shipping, please contact me asap. You will need to keep the damaged packaging as well as provide photographs of the packaging and of all damage to your item. This is so that I may open a claim with the shipper. I am unable to refund unless these steps are properly followed.
